More Little Red Scrapbook September Projects...

Hi there, I'm back to share the rest of my layouts using the wonderful September kit from LRS. Did I mention how nicely coordinated this kit is?  I think it's one of my favorite kits so far!

This first layout is of our friends' daughter, Olivia.  It has a lot of embellishment layering and machine stitching and I let the background patterned paper do most of the work for me!

Layout number two is of me taken during my very first half marathon earlier this year.  I don't often add memorabilia items to my layouts but I decided to add my number to commemorate the occasion.  This is one of those bucket list items that I can check off that I may never do again!  Thanks Rebecca for the push...(ahem) I mean encouragement. LOL  I altered the alphas with paint to match them to my layout.

My final layout "Family volleyball champs" is of my sister-in-laws and friends taken at a family get-together last summer.  Whenever we're all together there's always some sort of competition between the guys and gals.  This time it happened to be a volleyball game that gals won...well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Anyway, more stitching, more embellishment layering, and more altered letters on this layout.  So much fun!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share the rest of my layouts with you!  Don't forget to stop by the LRS store and pick up a September kit before they're all sold out!!

July Little Red Scrapbook Co. Kit Projects

It's that time of the month for me to share my Little Red Scrapbook Co. July kit projects!!  I loved working with this month's kit featuring Echo Park Paper Co.'s "Beautiful Life" Line-- and did I tell you about all of the amazing embellishments?  Feathers, journaling cards, and wooden rulers, oh my!

My first project is of Tanner and Gabe.  The photo's were taken at Jaron's graduation last summer and it really shows what a special relationship they have.  They may be 11 years apart but you would never know it by the way they play...ha-ha. This layout shows the versatility of the kit!

Here's the second layout featuring my niece Jessica...a very girlie layout!

And one of my BFF scrapping buddies on our yearly trip to the Scrapbook Manor in Walworth, WI.  Love that place and love that it's in a central location so we can all meet in the middle!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my creations with you!  Please stop by the Little Red Scrapbook store and pick up the July kit today!

June Little Red Scrapbook Projects!

Hi there, I'm so happy to share my June Little Red Scrapbook kit projects!  The June kit features My Mind's Eye- Kate & Co. line, which is gorgeous!  The colors are bright and bold with lots of pink, yellow and turquoise.  Not my typical colors to scrap with but loved how my projects turned out!

The first layout is of my friend Kathy.  Kathy follows my blog so I want to say a quick Hi to her..."Hi Mo!"...Anyway, I took these photos of her and her butterflies on a recent hike we took to the Camp Sherman area.  The butterflies were amazing that day.  They fluttered all around us and one even landed on my hand.  It was truly magical.

Gabe is my subject for the next layout.  It shows how versatile this kit is because I was able to use mist and the brown papers to create a masculine layout.  I also used the package insert from my Studio Calico hexagon stencil as a background for my photo.  It matched perfectly!

The final layout is of our puppy, Tootie.  She is a little stinker and finally almost out of the puppy stage.  We love her but it's been a lonnngggg 7 months. LOL.

The last project for the month is a card using pink!  Yes, I actually created a project with pink...and loved it!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my latest projects.  You can find this wonderful kit in the Little Red Scrapbook Store.

Little Red Scrapbook Co. is back!!

I couldn't have been happier to hear that The Little Red Scrapbook Co. was bringing the kit club back!  Sara always has the most amazing kits and this month is no exception!  She picked a fabulous line to kick it off with because who doesn't love October Afternoon?!  The "Travel Girl" line is so bright and fun, not to mention versatile enough to use for cards and masculine layouts as well.  Here's the kit...don't ya just love it?!

I was able to get two layouts and one card out of this kit and still have plenty left over for more projects.  The first layout is of our little niece Ruby June.  The JilliBean Soup circle cardstock was perfect for layering to create a quick and easy layout.

The second layout I created really shows off the versatility of this kit.  I used the more masculine papers for a layout of my boys riding the bumper cars at the State Fair last year.  I used the fun pattern papers to create arrows to continue the theme of the "Directions" patterned paper-- and even added some machine stitching and doodling to this one.  Love how it turned out!

My final project is a card using the "Post Card" and "Subway Token" papers.  Everything is from the kit but the star stickers.

The May kit can be purchased by stopping by the store here.  You don't want to miss this one because it's perfect for all of those summer vacation photos!!

Slacker...

I'm such a slacker...I haven't posted since July!  We've been so busy these past few months that I missed showing you my August LRS kit projects.  Once again the August kit was wonderful and I really did some fun projects with it:

This next layout I did for the Friday Fun segment on the blog.  I used water color crayons, mist and alcohol ink to accent the layout.  So fun and Piper is such a cutie pie!

...and finally a card for my card challenge on the message board.  Love the raffia!

Thanks for letting me share my August projects...and stay tuned as I'm currently working with the September kit!

The July LRS kit ROCKS!!

Oh my gosh, I've had fun with the July kit from Little Red Scrapbook!  The kit this month features Fancy Pants Designs "Country Botique" line and was a dream to work with as all of the embellishments coordinated perfectly.  Here are the layouts I created with it:

Lots of banners, misting and layering this month...woo-hoo.  If you haven't checked out the entire kit yet, you can find it here.  Thanks for stopping by!
